In science, we made oobleck, which has some interesting properties. The oobleck forms into a solid when you are moving fast but when it starts to fall out of your hand it turns into a liquid and it goes soft.  If you keep moving it in your hand then it will stay in a solid and if  you stop moving it, it turns into a liquid.

  1. Kia ora Neveah,

I love playing with Oobleck – it is such a fascinating substance.

Well done for sharing your mahi on your blog. I love that you inserted a picture to capture your readers attention.

Did Mrs Barron give you a learning objective – sometimes she writes it on the board as a WALT = We are learning to… – for this particular lesson? Next time, you might be able to start your post with that so your readers know what it is that your were learning.

What did you use to make the Oobleck blue?

    Nā, Mrs Penno
